Study Indicates Wichita Area Has Good Housing Values

According to a recent national study by Coldwell Banker, Wichita is the 10th-most affordable housing market in the United States. The study compared the cost of 4 bedroom homes of all ages, with approximately 2200 square feet. The average sales price of such a home in Wichita was approximately $145,000. The cumulative average sales price of a similar sized home in 310 markets across the country is $363,460. Of course, location, condition, age and amenities of a given home can result in values significantly different than the average.
